WINE ENTHUSIAST 2019
Aged in wood, this blend of parcels from across Meursault shows the richness for which the appellation is famed. It contrasts that with acidity, freshness and crisp citrus. The combination has produced a wine that can age further. Drink from 2021.
(from 9 different lieux-dits). A cool and overtly smoky nose features notes of hazelnut, floral, citrus and a soft application of wood influence. The clean, intense and precise flavors are quite tightly focused while exuding evident minerality on the racy, linear and beautifully well-detailed finish that is quite dry but not really austere. Lovely.
BURGUNDY BRIEFING SARAH MARSH MW 2018
Slightly spicy. Full and juicy and rounded. Generous. Very Meursault. Nicely balanced acidity though. This will have some fruit from higher parts in village as this is just the lower part.
BURGUNDY REPORT BILL NANSEN 2018
A modest but pure nose. The palate is wide, fresh, exciting, very open with a lovely touch of texture. Vibrant finishing, simply delicious wine. Bravo!
