The 2017 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is clean and crisp on the finely tuned nose, with well integrated oak and good mineralité. The fresh, vibrant palate is pixelated and full of tension from start to finish. There is wonderful salinity here, and superb length. A 2017 with ambition and the talent to pull it off. This is just a fabulous Bâtard-Montrachet.
BURGUNDY JASPER MORRIS 2021
Pale lemon and lime, with rather an attractive floral nose. Some elegance here in the light footed way. Fresh racy acidity, this is medium bodied plus, not the most intense for Grand Cru but with good persistence. Yet it gains considerable weight with time in the glass.

INSIDE BURGUNDY JASPER MORRIS 2019
Fuller yellow with a touch of green, it reminds me a little of an upscaled version of the Abbaye de Morgeot. This is clearly an opulent wine, exotic even, wearing its heart on its sleeve. The exotic side is tamed as the real concentration takes over. There is certaily a fine element of luxury about this wine.
